Reporting directly to our Head of DevOps, We are seeking a skilled AWS DevOps/Cloud Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps practices. This role requires a strong understanding of AWS services, container orchestration, Kubernetes, scripting, and infrastructure management.
Key responsibilities:
Manage and administer AWS environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security, including implementing blue-green deployment methodology.
Design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), including:
AWS CloudFormation using SDK Ruby for infrastructure automation.
Terraform using Vault for secrets management and Packer for machine image creation.
Serverless Framework for deploying serverless applications efficiently.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, Ruby, or other scripting languages.
Develop, build, and manage Java-based applications, including expertise in Maven for dependency management and build automation.
Perform Linux system administration tasks to support cloud infrastructure.
Containerize applications using Docker and manage container orchestration solutions.
Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters, including Helm and ingress controllers such as Istio.
Utilize version control systems such as Git and Jira for source code and project management.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated deployments, including expertise in Groovy, Pipeline as Code, and shared pipeline libraries.
Configure and manage infrastructure using Ansible for configuration management.
Work with NoSQL databases, specifically Elasticsearch, for data storage and search solutions.

AWS certification or actively working towards certification.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and best practices.
Strong understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code and automation.
Proficiency in scripting and programming for automation tasks.
Experience with Linux system administration and cloud security best practices.
Knowledge of containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management tools.
Experience with AWS security best practices and compliance frameworks.
